FAQ Employment contract

The candidate will work with a Single Permit (5 years) under a single employer. You are entitled to an unlimited job contract.

The contract can be switched or terminated any time by mutual consent.

After the first year of work, you are entitled to paid holidays. The number of days depends on the working regime.

Depending on the location of the employer, this could be in the city or in the countryside.

With the Single Permit (5 years), you have to work under a single employer. The initial training period will include 80% work in combination with lessons via nurse school.

After the training you can work full time for 38 hours/week.

Accommodation in InThe Philippines is paid by the project. During the training in Bayombong, Philippines, SMU provides accommodation.

Accommodation during the first year in Belgium is arranged by the employers in Belgium. A low rent has to be paid.

In both The Philippines and Belgium, food is the responsibility of the participants. The employers in Belgium provide meal vouchers to buy a certain amount of food and groceries.

When you become a registered nurse in Belgium after the completion of 1 year training, the minimum gross salary is 3.140 euros/month (Rs 282.928/month) and a net salary of 2.190 euros/ month (Rs 189.613/month).

Salary will increase with consecutive years and seniority level.

FAQ Training program

Yes. Training materials are provided by the institution.

There is a free 6 months training program in Bayombong, The Filippines from July- December. This include an intensive Dutch language course to 2.4 (B1) level. Along with the language course there are introduction lessons on Belgian Geriatric care, Psychiatric care and Western healthcare model. The candidate need to reach level 2.1 of Dutch after 3 months of language course (September), if the level of Dutch is not sufficient, the possibility exists that the candidate cannot proceed the Maalaga training program.

After complete successfully the training in Bayombong, the candidates start 1 year training in Belgium in combination with work. The candidates have the continuation of Dutch language course until 2.4 (B1) level, combined with working as a Healthcare assistant.

The candidate achieve the degree of registered nurse in Europe after successful completion of the training program.

The training program in Bayombong offers stipend.

The combined work and study program in Belgium offers salary.

FAQ Visa - working permit

Yes. Once you receive a positive decision on the combined visa as a working migrant, your spouse and children can apply for a family reunification visa at the Belgian Embassy. The family reunification procedure can take up to nine months. Since housing during the first year is only provided for the applicants, it is only possible to bring your family members to Belgium after completing one year of education in Belgium.

Once you live in Belgium for five years, you may qualify for Permanent Residency in Belgium. Certain residents can apply for Belgian nationality if you qualify for certain requirements. Both allow you to stay in Belgium indefinitely.

The candidate will get a Single permit valid for 1 year. The employer will extend it for 1 year, afterwords under statute of nurse for 3 years. Finally, the Single Permit can be applied for indefinite duration.

Yes, they will receive a residency permit A and can work in Belgium with this permit.

The cost of the visas in The Philippines and the flight is paid by Chinta. Guidance for visa procedures and tickets will be done by Centro Project Manpower in The Philippines.

Candidates must have the following documents:

- international passport (validity check)

- correct degree of nursing approved by the State bodies Nursing Council

- detailed curriculum vitae

- a medical certificate and document of good behaviour and morals (BNI) will be asked of the selected candidates at the start of the preliminary process in India.
